How Much Does Junk Removal Cost In Denver?

Nobody likes asking about money, so here is our pricing in the open, what changes it, and how to find out what your own job costs without anyone coming out to look.

Updated August 2026 6 minute read Denver & the Front Range
The short answer

Most junk removal jobs around Denver land between $75 and $525. What you pay comes down to how much room your stuff takes up in the trailer, not how many hours we are there or how many pieces you have. A few bags and an old chair sit at the bottom end. A full garage clear-out sits at the top.

We get asked about price before anything else, and we would rather answer it here than make you call to find out. Below is how we price work, what is already included, and the handful of things that genuinely move the number.

Our Price Ranges

We price by volume, which means by how much space your load takes up in the trailer. Our trailer is 7 feet wide, 7 feet tall and 16 feet long, so it holds a serious amount.

How fullTypical priceWhat that usually looks like
A few items $75 to $125 A couch, a mattress, a few boxes, or a single appliance
Quarter trailer $150 to $250 A small bedroom cleared, or a modest garage tidy-up
Half trailer $275 to $375 A full garage, a basement, or a small apartment clear-out
Three-quarter trailer $400 to $500 A large basement, a shed plus yard waste, or a small remodel
Full trailer $525+ A whole property clean-out or a construction debris haul, quoted on site

These are real ranges, not teaser pricing. Your exact figure is confirmed in writing before we lift anything.

If you want to see roughly where your load sits, there is a slider on our homepage you can drag to get a ballpark in a few seconds.

What Is Already In The Price

The number we quote is the number you pay. There is no separate labour charge, fuel surcharge or dump fee added at the end. Every quote covers:

  • All the lifting and loading. You do not need to move anything to the curb or help us carry it. Point at it and we will handle it.
  • Getting it out of the property. Stairs, tight hallways, awkward corners and back gardens are part of the job, not an upcharge.
  • Hauling it away. Transport to the right facility is included.
  • Disposal and recycling fees. What the facility charges us is already built into your price.
  • Sweeping up. We leave the space clean, not just empty.

Where your stuff goes. We sort every load and recycle or donate whatever still has life in it. Only what genuinely cannot be reused goes to the landfill. It costs us a little more time and it is the right thing to do.

What Actually Changes The Price

How much space it takes up

This is the big one. Ten light bags of clothing take up more trailer space than one heavy toolbox, so bulk matters more than weight for most jobs. If you can break down boxes and stack things before we arrive, you may drop into a cheaper bracket.

Weight, on certain loads

Dense material is the exception to the volume rule. Concrete, tile, soil, roofing and brick get heavy long before they look like much, and the facility charges by weight. If your job is mostly rubble, tell us up front and we will price it properly rather than surprising you later.

Items that cost extra to dispose of

A few things carry their own fees at the facility no matter who hauls them. Fridges, freezers and air conditioning units contain refrigerant that has to be removed by a certified handler. Mattresses, tyres and paint are usually charged separately too. We will fold these into your quote up front so there is no sting at the end.

What we cannot take

There are a small number of items we are not licensed to handle, including asbestos, chemicals, solvents, medical waste and anything flammable or explosive. If you are not sure about something, send us a photo and we will tell you honestly, even if the answer is that you need a specialist.

Access

Third floor with no elevator, or a long carry from a back yard to the street, takes longer. It is rarely a big adjustment, but it is one reason we ask for photos rather than guessing.

Why Two Companies Quote You Different Numbers

If you ring around and get wildly different prices, it is usually because companies price in different ways.

  • Per item pricing looks cheap for one sofa and gets expensive fast once you have a dozen things.
  • Volume pricing, which is what we use, is better value on anything more than a couple of pieces.
  • Minimum call-out charges catch people out. A company advertising a low starting rate may have a minimum well above it.
  • Fees added at the end for dump charges, fuel or stairs. Always ask whether the quote is the final figure.

A cheap quote that grows on the day is not a cheap quote. Ask any company you call whether the price they give you is the price you pay.

How To Get An Accurate Price In About Ten Minutes

You do not need to book a visit or wait for a callback to find out what your job costs. Take a few photos on your phone and send them over.

  • Stand back far enough that the whole pile is in frame
  • Take two or three angles rather than one close-up
  • Include anything heavy or awkward, especially appliances and rubble
  • Mention which floor it is on and whether we can park nearby

From that we can usually give you a firm price the same day. You can see the full process on our how it works page, and if the job turns out to be bigger than the photos showed, we stop, show you the difference and agree the new price with you before doing any extra work.

Questions Worth Asking Any Junk Removal Company

  • Is this quote the final price, or can it change on the day?
  • Does it include labour, hauling and disposal fees?
  • Are you licensed and insured?
  • What happens to my things after you take them?
  • Is there a minimum charge?

Any company worth hiring will answer all five without hesitating.

Common Questions

Do you charge a call-out fee just to quote?+
No. Quotes are free, and photo quotes mean we usually do not need to come out at all. You only pay once you have agreed a price and we have done the work.
Is there a minimum charge?+
Our smallest bracket starts at $75, which covers a single item or a few bags. If you have less than that, get in touch anyway and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth hiring us.
Can you give a price over the phone?+
We can give you a ballpark straight away from a description. For a firm price we ask for photos, because it stops both of us guessing and means the number we give you is the number you pay.
Do I need to be there when you collect?+
Not always. Plenty of customers leave things in a garage or driveway and settle up remotely. We will agree the details with you beforehand.
How soon can you come out?+
Often the same day, depending on how the schedule looks. If it is urgent, call or text rather than using the form and we will tell you straight away what we can do.
What if the job is bigger than the photos showed?+
We stop, show you the difference and agree a revised price with you before any extra work goes ahead. We never quietly add to the bill.
